APPLY FOR GRANT

StrikeForce 421 awards financial grants to selected Christian non-profit ministries in the South Florida area who serve those in need and proclaim the Gospel. You are here, because you share our Statement of Faith. If you are interested in applying for a grant, you will need to provide information about your organization, the purpose of your request and description of your specific project. You can do this by completing our application for funds. Previous StrikeForce 421 Grant Recipients are welcome to be considered for another grant after a period of four (4) years from the year that the previous grant was awarded.

Our next grant application season is from August 1st through August 31st, 2024. All information including financials must be complete & submitted by 11:59pm on August 31. Any applications received after 11:59pm on August 31 are automatically disqualified and unfortunately will not be able to be considered.



Grant Process:
  1. Submit your application in its entirety.
  2. The board meets to review all applications & determines who will move forward to an interview.
  3. Interview process: You will have 20 minutes to present on your ministry & 20 minutes for Q&A.
  4. The board votes on who the semi-finalists will be.
  5. On January 23, 2025, the semi-finalists will come to present their ministry, and the board & members will vote on who will receive the grants.
  6. Finalists will be announced at our Celebration Giveaway Event on February 4, 2025!

Please submit all of the following materials below:
Financial Information

1. Detail budget for the current year.
2. Detailed Grant Budget: Provide an itemized Grant Budget Request clearly stating how the Grant monies will be used. Be specific giving actual costs while detailing items and services to be purchased. The total amount must show how the Grant will be used. Grant Request amount must not exceed half of applicant’s current operating budget. Grant Request for advertising, marketing and salaries in total must not exceed 20% of the grant amount. Grant request must not include ongoing operating expenses, rent or endowments.
3. Comparative financial statements (audited if available) for the most recent two year period. For example, if you are applying for a grant in the year 2024, we require comparative financial statements for the years 2023 and 2022. These statements must include a Balance Sheet (a statement of Assets and Liabilities) and an income statement or Profit and Loss Statement.
4. Organization’s current 990 tax return.
5. Affiliation with federal, public, or private funding sources (be specific).
6. Copy of 501(c)(3) IRS letter approving your tax exempt status.
7. Current list of Board of Directors, staff and their positions.
